メディア授業とは，メディアを利用して遠隔方式により実施する授業の授業時数が，総授業時数の半数を超える授業をいいます。
メディア授業により取得した単位は，卒業要件として修得すべき単位のうち60単位を超えないものとされています。

ある材料を読みながら，世界にある問題を発見・発掘するために，授業では，グループを編成して英語で議論する。各人，問題のありかは異なるであろうが，グループはその差異を認め，グループのchairpersonは全体の議論を活性化しながら，まとめて行く。まとまった内容は，グループのpresenterが代表してクラスへプレゼンテーションを行う。その後，Q&Aセッションを設け，各人は，全体の議論を認識しながら，自己の問題を深めるために，自己の問題に対して，授業後，レポートを書くこととする。
本科目は，主に学部DP2-2及び2-3の能力養成に寄与する。
While reading various materials, in order to discover and examine problems in the world, groups will be formed in this course for English debates (DP2-2,3). Each person may have a different opinion, but the group will accept differences in opinion, and the group chairperson will guide and summarize active discussions. The summarized content of the group debate will be presented to the class by a group representative. If possible, a Q & A session will follow each presentation. Each person will follow the entire debate and write a report after the class to reflect more deeply on his or her own chosen problem.

本コースの主な目的は、学生が研究を行うためのツールとして英語を効果的に活用できるようにすることです。科学技術や情報技術における様々な課題を考察しながら、4技能を練習します。英語での討論やプレゼンテーションスキルも育成します。英語による学習に対して積極的かつ前向きな姿勢を育むコースです。
1) 学生はペアやグループで協力し、科学技術に関連する様々な興味深い英語活動に取り組みます。
2) 科学技術分野で有用な語彙力を増強します。
3) 新しい学習技法を習得し実践します。
4) 自身の意見を用いて質問し、回答します。
5) 計画立案や短時間のプレゼンテーションを英語で行います。
6) 単語と文のアクセントの使い方を学びます。
The major objective of this course is to enable students to use English effectively as a tool for doing research. Students will practice the four skills while examining various issues in science and technology and information technology. English debating and presentation skills will also be developed. The course will foster the development of a positive and active attitude towards learning in English.
1) Students will work together in pairs and groups to complete a variety of interesting English activities related to science and technology.
2) Students will increase their vocabulary on useful science and technology topics.
3) Students will learn and practice new study techniques.
4) Students will ask and answer questions, using their own opinions.
5) Students will use English to make plans, and to give short presentations.
6) Students will learn how to use word and sentence stress.
