授業の目的と概要
This course covers the concept of quantitative data analytics. Teaching will be through a combination of lectures, and computer workshops in Media and Information Technology Center. The computer workshops will provide hands-on experience of the analysis of data and the application of the methods introduced in the class using SPSS. The course assumes no prior knowledge of SPSS.
授業の到達目標
The objective of this course is to develop the skills necessary to effectively present multivariate analyses and write academic reports at the level required for master's and doctoral theses.
授業計画
【全体】
This course gives a quantitative methods of data analysis. Content includes: descriptive statistics, presentation of data using tables and graphs, the normal distribution, sampling distributions and the central limit theorem, independent t-tests, correlation and ANOVA, simple linear regression, Exploratory Factor Analysis, Confirmatory Factor Analysis, and Structural Equation Modelling.
