授業の目的と概要

The aim of this course is to help students acquire an understanding of the fundamental and advanced knowledges of the function and biotechnological application of industrial microorganisms, especially metabolic pathway and enzymes, and production of valuable compounds.

授業の到達目標

By the end of this course, students will be able to explain both fundamental and advanced concepts regarding the functions of industrial microorganisms, analyze key metabolic pathways and enzyme functions involved in the production of valuable compounds, and evaluate biotechnological applications of these microorganisms based on scientific evidence and representative case studies.
