授業の目的と概要
Elucidate the close relationship between food and human health scientifically. The relationship between obesity, lifestyle-related diseases, aging, etc. and diet will be clarified at the molecular level using reactive oxygen species (ROS) as a keyword.
授業の到達目標
1. Learn about the tertiary functions of food. Scientifically analyze the function of food from the viewpoint of human health and prevention of lifestyle-related diseases.
2. Basically, food is composed of components of biological origin. It is necessary to have an attitude of understanding not only about food but also about life phenomena as the basis of living organisms.
3. You can investigate the contents that are difficult to understand by yourself, and understand them through questions or discussions.I hope you will investigate your own questions and further knowledge on your own.
4. Since the face-to-face is the basis of the program, absence shall be a disqualifying condition.
5. Develop the ability to summarize knowledge and research items in assignments and reports.
6. Be able to think deeply about content that is different from your own opinions and ideas.

Learn about the aging hypothesis and the effects of food on aging and disease. Furthermore, based on the latest knowledge on lifespan extension, we will explore anti-aging methods.

成績評価法
