Students will focus on improving the following abilities: ・ The ability to sustain a conversation for several minutes on specific topics of personal interest. ・ The ability to ask a variety of questions using relative pronouns and to paraphrase unfamiliar words. ・ The ability to exchange key information (such as when, where, who, what, why, and how) relatively smoothly in English. ・ The ability to respond to a conversation partner by asking questions, making comments, and using backchanneling cues appropriately.

In this course, TOEIC preparation will be conducted in the first week. Students will grow accustomed to the sounds of English, work on understanding, and develop the ability to express themselves orally in English. In preparation for the final presentation, students will deepen their understanding of grammar, focus on natural English expressions and nuances, and work toward applying them in conversation.
