授業の目的と概要
Health issues will be comprehensively explained from the viewpoints of health, medicine, and welfare.In particular, lectures by medical school faculty members with practical experience in internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, otorhinolaryngology, dentistry, and other medical institutions will provide a deep understanding of health issues through lectures that reflect their areas of expertise. In addition, in order to encourage active learning, students will be required to write short reports from time to time, and emphasis will be placed on enabling students to comprehensively consider health issues from the perspectives of health, medicine, and welfare.

To learn the significance of medicine/health science as a science and health/medical care/welfare as a practice in society and how issues related to health are comprehensively viewed, to acquire the ability and attitude to deal with health problems, and to develop the ability to consider what the future should be like
授業計画
【全体】
Health issues will be comprehensively explained from the viewpoints of health, medicine, and welfare, and in particular, contemporary topics will be introduced through lectures by medical school faculty reflecting their areas of expertise. Students will be required to submit short reports from time to time to provide opportunities for comprehensive discussion from the perspectives of health, medicine, and welfare, and to encourage active study by the students. Although there is no homework requirement, students are encouraged to do their own research on the content of each lecture and summarize related issues and points of interest. A final examination (summary report) will be given on the last day of the course, and the content of the examination will be designed to reflect the students' independent study.

成績評価法
Attendance, class attitude, and a short report after class and an examination (summary report) will be judged and evaluated comprehensively.
Classroom attitude and active learning of each student will be evaluated with special emphasis.
(Please familiarize yourself with the examinations (summary reports) as they will be explained in class, and ask questions during class if necessary.)
Reports and quizzes for each session 35%. 
Final exam 65%.
