メディア授業とは,メディアを利用して遠隔方式により実施する授業の授業時数が,総授業時数の半数を超える授業をいいます。 メディア授業により取得した単位は,卒業要件として修得すべき単位のうち60単位を超えないものとされています。

This course contains the following modules: 1) What consideration is needed when you write an essay. 2) Training of your reading ability with increasing Japanese vocabulary. 3) Training of your logical thinking. 4) How to write technical reports. These modules will be a very important ability for you when you face job hunting before/after graduation.
|

In order to make a smooth transition from high school to university, students will acquire the skills necessary for study and university life, as well as the basic ability to think, judge, express themselves, act and speak for themselves.
|

We will give a guidance of the whole course in the first week, then the following four modules will be prepared. 1. What you should think about when you write an essay. (week 2 to 4) 2. Training of your reading ability with increasing Japanese vocabulary. (week 5 to 7) 3. Training of your logical thinking. (week 8 to 11) 4. How to write technical reports. (week 12 to 15)

Based on the materials so far you learned, we will discuss about key issues for good writing. You will learn a basic style that is frequently seen in a technical document. You will be required to write an essay along the line of the style.

How to write technical reports (2).
|
How can we correctly convey the information we see with our eyes? This class will look at a diagram that combines multiple figures and consider how to convey this information using only text. Conversely, we will also practice drawing the original diagram from the text.

About the Thinking Process
|
How should we organize the content of our writing? Thinking methods are useful in such situations. Here, you will learn some of the Thinking Processes and how to use them to organize your thoughts.

To come up with new things
|
When you are planning something, you need to come up with some ideas. How can we come up with new ideas? Here, you will learn about the idea generation method and try to use it. Some group work may be involved.
