メディア授業とは，メディアを利用して遠隔方式により実施する授業の授業時数が，総授業時数の半数を超える授業をいいます。
メディア授業により取得した単位は，卒業要件として修得すべき単位のうち60単位を超えないものとされています。

In order to acquire the ability to use English as a communication tool, this class emphasizes the development of the ability to actually speak, listen and understand in English (speaking and listening) rather than knowledge. Also, compared to "English Conversation I", it emphasizes more accurate and fluent language use.
・Can maintain a conversation for several minutes on a specific topic of personal interest.
・Can use relative pronouns to ask a variety of questions and paraphrase unknown words.
・Can exchange information in English relatively smoothly regarding key and important information (when, where, who, what, why, how, etc.).
・Can ask questions, make comments, and respond by nodding to what the other person says.

Skills and Expression: Able to converse and exchange information in relatively accurate and fluent English on topics of personal interest or concern, using a variety of questions, responses, comments, paraphrases, etc.
|
|
|
|
Focusing on basic oral and auditory skills, the course begins with a discussion of key specific topics, study skills, how to apply and assess them, and related grammar and vocabulary acquisition. Online learning resources for the required TOEIC exams will also be introduced and used in class.
The SDGs are used as basic topics to expand vocabulary and collocations, grammar practice and usage.

・The grading process will be strict, with points added based on regular exam results, performance evaluations, TOEIC scores, and e-learning progress.
・Speaking and listening each account for 50% of the overall class grade.
・Students will be disqualified if they are absent four or more times or do not take the January TOEIC L&R IP test (if they cannot take the TOEIC test for truly unavoidable reasons, they should, as a general rule, contact the Academic Affairs Section, Educational Support Division by the close of registration on the day of the test (the latest time of entry).)

We will focus on conversation, and apply it to the TOEIC L/R exam. 30% of your final score is based on your TOEIC L/R score, so you MUST take this exam! To get full points on this, you need to score 500 points or higher.
