What we think about and are interested in every day, and conversely, what we are not convinced about, are actually connected to "academics". In this seminar, we will think carefully about the connection between ourselves and academia with our fellow students and discuss and search for answers. In other words, questions, favourite things and obsessions in daily life are very important, and it is important to have the attitude to face that "internal problem consciousness. The way of proceeding with Seminar Ⅱ is constructed based on a long-term plan until graduation. First, in the second year (Seminar I), students learn about as many social issues as possible and understand the background of those issues. In the third year (Seminar II), students read literature and research, report and discuss in seminars, to clarify their own awareness of the issues. Then, in the second half of the third year or the fourth year, you will complete your own thesis, based on your social research. The attitude required in this seminar is "the courage to expose oneself" and "the sense of ownership to create the seminar" in the seminar. For reference, my research areas are an ageing society, social policy, care, community, work-life balance, gender, and identity.
