メディア授業とは,メディアを利用して遠隔方式により実施する授業の授業時数が,総授業時数の半数を超える授業をいいます。 メディア授業により取得した単位は,卒業要件として修得すべき単位のうち60単位を超えないものとされています。

The lecture about various kinds of manufacturing methods necessary for machine production are given by a teacher with the duty experience in the design and development section of the medical equipment manufacturer. It is required to grasp the principle of various processing methods, the point to keep in mind in the application. It is also required to understand the whole process of the machine production technology, and the principle, characteristics, and problem of individual manufacturing method exactly. It is aimed to develop ability of the crafting.

Perspectives of Knowledge and Understanding: 1. Understanding the history, principle and method of the machine production technologies, and being able to apply them. 2. Getting the ability to explain the characteristic of each production technology and the shape that can or cannot be processed. 3. Getting the ability to explain the whole process of the machine production technology.
Perspectives on Thinking and Judgment: 1. Getting the ability to choose production technology that is suitable for making the desired shape. 2. Getting the ability to analyze a production technologies of the existing product. 3. Getting the ability to propose the production process combining the production technologies.
Perspective of interest and motivation: 1. Being interested in a production technology of the personal article and being able to think to compare it with one's knowledge. 2. Being able to nominate plural things produced in a same production technology.
Perspectives on Attitudes: 1. Being able to work on a report problem spontaneously, independently and positively.
Perspectives on Skills and Expressions: 1. Being able to collect information about an existing product appropriately. 2. Being able to express the change of the product shape in the production process precisely. 3. Being able to express and explain a three-dimensional shape precisely by using a figure and an appropriate sentence to the people, such as designers, out of this field.

Evaluation is be done by mini tests, a term examination and two times of reports. Points for mini tests, reports and a term examination are 10, 30 and 60 points, respectively. Attendance may be also judged from the answer to mini tests. Total point is one hundred, and It is a condition for 60 points or more to pass it . Then, it is must to attend more than 2/3=more than 10 times of lecture and a term examination. Attendance will also be determined by answers to quizzes.

If they do not have a real experience, it may be hard to have the interest in this lecture, but I want to be interested and to learn it because of learning a basic method of the manufacturing. The shape that can be manufactured depends on a processing method. If, therefore, they do not know the processing method at the time of design, they may make a mistake that they design the machine having the shape and precision that are cannot be processed. This is an important subject for designing a machine.
