(1) Starting with a review of Polymer Chemistry I, topics related to the chemical structure of polymer compounds and the solid state structure of polymeric materials will be discussed. (2) The latter half of the lecture will focus on the role of polymeric materials in advanced scientific fields. (3) Exercises will be conducted during the lecture time, which will also be used to check attendance. (4) Exercises may be assigned as homework. (5) Students will be required to study in advance by watching a video overview of the lecture using Moodle. (The lecture will be given on the assumption that students have done about 20 minutes of video plus about 20 minutes of exercises in advance.) (6) Details of the lecture implementation will be posted on Moodle. Please read it carefully and attend the lecture.

備考
Students are required to have a thorough understanding of "Polymer Chemistry I (required subject)". Although some review will be given, the lectures will basically proceed on the assumption that the students understand the contents of "Polymer Chemistry I." No additional examinations will be given due to poor performance. Since no additional examinations will be given due to poor performance, students are expected to study hard for each lecture and to study sufficiently for the examinations as well.
