メディア授業とは，メディアを利用して遠隔方式により実施する授業の授業時数が，総授業時数の半数を超える授業をいいます。
メディア授業により取得した単位は，卒業要件として修得すべき単位のうち60単位を超えないものとされています。

This seminar class contains the following materials:
- problem sets and tutorial in basics on organic chemistry and physical chemistry.
- introductory course for inorganic chemistry.
- practice exams for TOEIC TEST.
- quizes for English vocabulary.

This seminar class aims at the following achievements:
- To master basic knowledge and concept for the basic organic chemistry and physical chemistry.
- To learn outlines of basics on inorganic chemistry. This is for the preparation to take the classes in inorganic chemistry in the second and third year.
- To get sufficient TOEIC score to qualify to take the English class in the second year. The minimum requirement is 450 points or more.

Teaching schedule may be changed due to conditions beyond our control.
We basically teach the course in the following plan but may cause some change due to the conditions beyond our control.
A guidance of the course will be held at the first class in October; all of students are expected to attend.
All of seminar class will be assigned at the 3rd to the 6th school hour in every Friday (basically starting at 10:20 am to 2:10 pm excepting lunchtime break). However, due to the status of COVID 19, the class could divided into half.
English Vocabulary quiz (ten times throughout the course) will be held in the same day of the class. This is going to be held in moodle on-line teaching system. The first one will be held at the first class and all of students are expected to learn vocabularies in day 1 to day 7 in the text 1 below beforehand.

All of students are expected to attend ALL of classes. A few absence without unavoidable reasons will reflect failure of the course. This is going to make severe damage in your undergraduate course.
Group number will be assigned by the student ID number. This is going to be assigned in the guidance time as well as home page of the department.

All of academic staffs in this course are working in Ube campus, and question and discussion with us are only available in Ube campus. Question and discussion time is available basically all of working days (9am to 5 pm) in the school term before the end of the final exam, as long as e-mail scheduling beforehand is made. We will not accept any visiting to my office without the appointment beforehand. Send an e-mail using your official address to us for requesting a meeting for your question first. Note that in case of e-mail system trouble during above scheduling, please understand that we will NOT be responsible for that, but that this is a matter of the university administration office.
