授業の目的と概要
Through research design and its preparation, students develop their English skill and global perspectives, knowledge and techniques to develop and utilize diverse biological resources, logical thinking, and English communication skills, etc. In addition, the students write reports in English and present her/his works in English. Through the preparation process for them, students acquire English presentation skills and communication skills.
授業の到達目標
Students plan and conduct research on their topic under the guidance of supervisors and sub-supervisors in both universities.
授業計画
【全体】
Students prepare for writing reports and presentation under the guidance of supervisors and sub-supervisors in both universities with the following schedule.
First semester of the first year: Determination of research purpose and experimental methods
Second semester of the first year: Implementation of experiments and modification of methods
First semester of the second year: Implementation of experiments, summary of results and preparation of reports
Second semester of the second year: Implementation of experiments, preparing oral presentation in English and its Q and A session.

The academic supervisor will assess whether the research project is proceeding satisfactorily, whether its future plan is appropriate, and whether the research background, aim, results, discussion, and future plan are explained logically.
