授業の目的と概要
This is a level 1 English course. If your current best TOEIC L&R score is more than 600 you should take a level 2 or 3 course. If your current score is 0-595, you may take this course.

In this course we will work on improving our speaking skills by discussing topics that are more advanced and potentially problematic. We will also discuss language learning mindsets and how to improve them, gaining a more positive perspective on language learning and improving communication skills overall study skills.
授業の到達目標
Each week you will choose something about your speaking ability to improve in class and outside of class. Through discussion, you will have many opportunities to achieve your speaking goals and improve your language learning mindset in the process.
Specific areas you will target may include pronunciation, grammar, appropriateness, vocabulary, etc.
授業計画
【全体】
Each week students will have organized discussions in class on various difficult topics.
Before each discussion, each student will choose a goal to accomplish during their class.
After each class students will choose another speaking related goal to perform during the week.
