メディア授業とは，メディアを利用して遠隔方式により実施する授業の授業時数が，総授業時数の半数を超える授業をいいます。
メディア授業により取得した単位は，卒業要件として修得すべき単位のうち60単位を超えないものとされています。

Cloud systems are necessary to modern society, and the modern society can not function without network systems. However, as the word "cloud" suggests, the locations, scope, and specific equipment that constitute it are difficult to grasp in concrete terms - much like clouds in the sky.
In this course, we will explain in detail various systems that exist on the Internet. Furthermore, by actually building some of these systems and understanding their mechanisms, students will develop the ability to effectively utilize network system technologies from both hardware and software perspectives.

Through hands-on system construction, students will learn the mechanisms of several fundamental protocols that make up the Internet—such as TCP/IP, HTTPS, SMTP, IMAP, and SSH—as well as systems including the World Wide Web (WWW), e-mail, and SSH. They will gain an understanding of how information is processed and transmitted within these systems. The skills required for this course include the ability to configure and manage middleware such as web server software and e-mail server software, as well as proficiency in operating a UNIX-based operating system.

After providing the necessary foundational knowledge through lectures, students will engage in hands-on system construction exercises. Specifically, the course will cover the mechanisms of the Internet, the structure and operation of server systems, the types of information transmitted over communication networks, the installation of a UNIX-based operating system, and the installation and configuration of web and mail servers.
