授業の目的と概要
This is a level 2 course. Students in this course are expected to have a TOEIC (L&R) score between 600 and 700.

1) Students will read many different types of English writing as models for their own writing.
2) Useful reading skills and strategies will be reviewed and practiced.
3) Key grammar points will be reviewed and practiced.
4) Students will increase their vocabulary on a variety of topics.
5) Students will learn and use new study techniques.
6) Students will also practice some speaking and listening by discussing their writing in pairs and small groups.

Students will read a variety of styles, genres and formats, and through this process, they will develop reading speed, vocabulary and processing accuracy.

Students will complete various reading assignments for homework and discuss what they have read as well as why they read it and its importance to their groups.
