授業の目的と概要

This course is a level 2 course. Students whose best TOEIC L&R score is below 600 should not take this course.
In this course students will improve their academic reading skills. Students taking this course will improve their vocabulary and general reading skills, as well as improving their understanding of fact from opinions, and how academic writing is written.

授業の到達目標


This course is designed to help students increase their academic reading skills, such as reading for the IELTS or TOEIC exams. The particular focus is on such skills as skimming, scanning, reading for gist, understanding reference and others.

授業計画

【全体】

Each week we will cover one unit in the textbook, then do online tasks out of class. Homework will take approximately ４ hours each week.
