授業の目的と概要

This is a course designed for students wih a TOEIC L/R score below 600. Students who already have scores higher than 600 points should not take this course.

This course is designed to help students increase their TOEIC L/R exam scores. Students taking this course will increase their understanding of the test itself, as well as the language points commonly used on the test.

Students may take either this course, TOEIC 600+ II, or both courses. There is no prerequisite for either course. However, students with scores below 450 may find lower TOEIC preparation courses more appropriate until scores improve.

授業の到達目標


Students taking this course should improve their TOEIC scores above 600 points. There is a focus on the communication using the language of the test, designed to improve specifically listening and reading skills under test conditions.

Each week we will cover one unit in the textbook, then do online tasks out of class. Homework will take approximately 4 hours each week.

TOEIC L/R 600+ I and II both use the same textbook. We will do the first 5 units in TOEIC L/R 600+ II, then units 6-10 in TOEIC L/R 600+ II. If you take only one of these courses you may use the other half of this book for self-study.
