授業の目的と概要

This is a level 1 English course. If your current best TOEIC L&R score is more than 600 you should take a higher level TOEIC course. If your current score is 0-595, you may take this course.
This course is an introductory course to the TOEIC L&R exam, but it is not a prerequisite to other TOEIC courses.

This course is designed to orient the students to the TOEIC L/R exam. We will begin with the target score of 600.
Each section of the listening portion of the exam will be introduced.
In addition, we will do speaking and writing exercises to help with the S/W portions of the TOEIC SLRW exam.
Homework will be mainly on the online modules

授業の到達目標


＜リスニング＞リスニング力を向上させ、特にTOEIC Part2.3.4の正解率を上げることを目指す。＜英文法・リーディング＞文法理解を確実なものにすることで、TOEIC Part5.6の問題が解けるようになることを目指す。音読練習、さらには、精読・速読の訓練を行うことで、Part7の点数アップを狙う。

【全体】

Each week we will work on half of a unit in the textbook, do practice quizzes and work on personal goals and pacing.
We will also work in groups to help each other find personal strengths and weaknesses, and practice speaking in the target language.

In this course - TOEIC (L/R 600+) I, units 1-4 are used.
In TOEIC (L/R 600+) II, units 8-11 will be used.
In TOEIC (L/R 600+) III, units 12-14 will be used.
In TOEIC (L/R 600+) IV, units 5-7 will be used.
In TOEIC (L/R 700+) I & II, this book will be used for review.
