メディア授業とは,メディアを利用して遠隔方式により実施する授業の授業時数が,総授業時数の半数を超える授業をいいます。 メディア授業により取得した単位は,卒業要件として修得すべき単位のうち60単位を超えないものとされています。

In Japanese workplaces, there are unique ways of working based on Japanese culture, history, customs, and philosophy. Without understanding this workplace culture, it is difficult to work in Japan. This is true for both people who grew up overseas and those who grew up in Japan. On the other hand, Japanese society needs to embrace "globalization", and reforms in the workplace and improves customer service from various perspectives. This seminar is going to be offered as a short-term course. International students and Japanese students will form pairs to observe and experience the workplaces of Japanese companies and municipalities, and will learn about Japanese workplace practices. Then, they will discuss and examine areas for improvement from diverse perspectives.

Participants are going to: Learn the differences between membership-based employment and job-based employment to understand the current state of workplaces in Japan. Additionally, participants will be asked to analyze how workplaces need to be restructured as Japanese society faces rapid globalization. Through practical exercises, they will be expected to integrate these insights into career development as a global talent and be able to envision a future career path.

Participate in programs offered by partner organizations, and understand of workplace characteristics, culture, and practices. Share acquired knowledge and discoveries with partner students, and write personal perspectives on the roles and positioning expected of global talents in a report. Additionally, give a presentation about findings of issues and improvement opportunities identified through workplace observations, and discuss with partner organizations.
