This lecture aims to cultivate participants' ability to address regional issues through system-based solutions. Participants will engage in identifying challenges and problems faced by local communities by leveraging their own academic resources and perspectives. They will also generate discussions around these issues and work through the entire process from proposing solutions to creating mockups. Through this process, the ultimate goal of the lecture is for participants to develop the following key skills; the ability to identify problems, navigate fluidly across academic disciplines, and actively engage in addressing challenges.

This lecture series is planned to consist of 16 sessions.
The first session will serve as an orientation, during which we will share this year’s theme. From the second session onward, participants will engage in group work, progressing through discussions and preparations toward the midterm presentation, final presentation, and proposal development.
During the midterm and final presentations, each group will present their proposals, followed by a peer evaluation process.

This lecture aims to foster techniques useful for solving regional issues and incorporate exercises that develop flexible design thinking. At the same time, through the process of creating a board game, participants will confront the essence of these issues, envision solutions, and ultimately shape a concrete approach to problem-solving. Your skills and insights are invaluable—not only for local communities, society, and the world but also for enriching your own lives. Rather than being confined to a single perspective or one-sided discussions, let’s go beyond those limitations, merge our diverse viewpoints, and work together to develop meaningful and inspiring proposals.
