授業の目的と概要
This class is open to students who are already enrolled in Dissertation Supervision which focuses on basic academic writing. Before we write a long final dissertation, we will practice short academic papers which will have the same format as the dissertation. Using quotations and citations correctly regarding tables, figures, footnotes etc., is also essential for researchers.
この授業は基礎的な論文指導の既学者を対象としている。長い最終論文を書く前に、最終論文と同じ書式の学術原稿の練習を行う。図、表、脚注などにおいて正確に引用することもまた研究者にとって必須である。
授業の到達目標
Cultivating 'independent research ability,' particularly aiming to acquire the skills and competencies necessary for conference presentations and writing peer-reviewed papers.
「自立的研究能力」の陶冶、中でも学会報告・査読論文作成に必要なレベルの技術･能力の習得を目指す
授業計画
【全体】
Using literary research and statistical data, students will practice academic writing in Japanese and/ or English. To practice academic research realistically, peer-reviewed activities are recommended. Giving presentations not only in this class, but also off campus, such as at academic meetings and conferences is also important. This schedule is up to COVID-19.
文献調査と統計データを用い、履修者は日本語と／または英語でアカデミック・ライティングを身につける。実際に研究を進めていく上で、同業者によるレビューを受けることを勧める。授業中の発表だけでなく、学術集会や学会などでの学外発表も重要である。なお、新型コロナウイルスの状況によってはスケジュール変更もあり得る。
