メディア授業とは,メディアを利用して遠隔方式により実施する授業の授業時数が,総授業時数の半数を超える授業をいいます。 メディア授業により取得した単位は,卒業要件として修得すべき単位のうち60単位を超えないものとされています。

This course provides an introduction to statistical analysis of economic data. The characteristics of this course are as follows: (1) Practice first: In this course, participants study the practical use of statistical methods. (2) Flipped classroom: it reverses the traditional learning environment; Participants read the course materials before and after the classes and conduct practice and discussion in the classroom.
The data used in this course relates to economic activities, living standards, energy consumption, etc., and through analyzing these data, students will recognize the importance of utilizing economic data in policy planning and evaluation.

Participants first learn about the importance of economic statistics, then learn how to obtain economic statistical data and how to handle it in a spreadsheet. After acquiring basic skills, students will solve practice problems to master the theory and practice of statistical tests, regression analysis, and other techniques. Finally, students will independently select a research topic related to economic statistics, analyze it using statistical methods, and compile the results in a short report.
