授業の目的と概要
Students will read papers on syntax and present and discuss their contents in class. Through these activities, students will learn to identify what has been clarified in previous studies and what issues remain unresolved, and will acquire skills in narrowing down a research topic and writing an academic paper in preparation for producing their own paper.
授業の到達目標
Students will develop the ability to formulate research plans and examine appropriate research methods.
授業計画
【全体】
Students will discuss the issues identified in the papers they read and consider possible solutions. They will then select, from the related references, a paper related to their own interests and summarize it in a final report.

 		Course overview; formation of groups and assignment of presenters; guidelines for presentations; presentations of the spring-break assignment (summary of previous studies). Preparation for presenting a summary of the paper read during the spring break.
