授業の目的と概要
In this class, students will study various theories and models related to regional economies and examine contemporary issues and sustainable development of regions, touching on regional policies and case studies of regional revitalization efforts.
In the class, we will determine the literature or book that deals with various theories, models, and case studies of the regional economy, and have the students make a handout of the responsible part and make presentations and raise issues. After that, all participants discuss sustainable regional development based on the presenters' presentations and discussion points.

Generally each class's plan is as follows:
1. A presenter prepares presentation a handout about the summary/viewpoints of the responsible part of the literature or book.
2. Discussion about the presentation by all members.
