メディア授業とは，メディアを利用して遠隔方式により実施する授業の授業時数が，総授業時数の半数を超える授業をいいます。
メディア授業により取得した単位は，卒業要件として修得すべき単位のうち60単位を超えないものとされています。

This class aims to introduce basic training for academic skills in the social sciences. In Japan, compared with other countries, literature review is very important for success with the referred journal papers and dissertations. For the trainees of social sciences, however, real-world knowledge is also important. Societies create theories on social sciences.
この授業では社会科学における基本的な学術スキルを身に着ける。日本では、他の国々と比べれば、先行研究が専門誌や学位論文にて重視される。しかしながら、社会科学を学ぶものにとって、実社会を知ることもまた重要である。社会科学の諸理論は実社会から導き出されていることに注視する。

Based on literature collection, acquire fundamental academic skills in the social sciences.

As mentioned above, literature reviews are essential. At the post-graduate level, in addition, presentations at academic meetings are required. Usually, Japanese academic societies require presentations before making submissions to journal papers. To prepare for these academic presentations, attendants of this class will need to prepare short presentations for practice. This schedule is up to COVID-19.
上記のように文献調査は必須である。さらに、大学院レベルでは、学術集会での口頭発表が求められる。日本の学術団体では、学術論文を提出する前に口頭発表を求められることが多い。学術発表の準備のため、この授業の出席者は短いプレゼンの練習が求められる。なお、新型コロナウイルスの状況によってはスケジュール変更もあり得る。
