授業の目的と概要
Researchers' mission is to explore the truth, it is in the contribution to public welfare and benefits. Researchers should not only pursue individual interests in any academic field, constantly confirm their positions, and not deviate from morals as researchers to respond to social consignment. Learn about researcher ethics and behavioral norms necessary for general sophistication as a researcher.
YU students take the course at their university, and KU students take classes at YU.

Recognizing the responsible conduct of research and research misconduct and learning sense and faculty of research ethics.

The course will be structured to deepen ethical understanding and judgment of responsible research conduct and misconduct in research activities.

第1回 Research Misconduct Consider misconduct in research activities. Two hours for preparation and two hours for review according to the lesson plan.
第2回 Responsible Conduct of Research Learn the rules for conducting research. Two hours for preparation and two hours for review according to the lesson plan.
第3回 Research Misconduct Learn the definition of misconduct and how to respond to misconduct. Two hours for preparation and two hours for review according to the lesson plan.
第4回 Plagiarism Learn the definition of plagiarism and how to citation. Two hours for preparation and two hours for review according to the lesson plan.
第5回 Data Handling Learn the definition of data and its handling. Two hours for preparation and two hours for review according to the lesson plan.
第6回 Authorship・Conflict of Interest Learn about authorship standards, responsibilities as an author of a paper, and conflicts of interest. Two hours for preparation and two hours for review according to the lesson plan.
第7回 Communicating Information to the Public Learn about security trade control (export control), appropriate use of public research funds, information dissemination to society, etc. Two hours for preparation and two hours for review according to the lesson plan.
第8回 Responsible Conduct of Research Review and summarize the entire lecture. Two hours for preparation and two hours for review according to the lesson plan.
