授業の目的と概要
Study on Fundamentals of Electromagnetic wave and its basic characteristics.
1. Group discussions of the book in English for the lightwave propagation as a part of Electromagnetic wave.
2. Presentation of the contents.
3. Explanations for the numerical expressions in the text book.
授業の到達目標
To understand the propagation of light waves as electromagnetic waves. To understand the characteristics of reflection, refraction and transmission of light waves. Understand the phenomena of total reflection and total transmission.
Acquire the ability to read and present Western books (specialized books) while deriving equations and understanding the physics.
授業計画
【全体】
Acquire the ability to read and present the context of the foreign technical book while deriving equations and understanding the physical aspects. Submit an A4 sheet of paper summarizing the previous week's class content before class.
