Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
.Understand the fundamental physical properties of seawater, including temperature, salinity, and pressure, and explain their roles in ocean dynamics.
.Describe the mechanisms governing ocean waves and circulation processes in the marine environment. Explain the principles of ocean heat transport and its significance in the global climate system.
.Analyze physical oceanographic phenomena based on theoretical knowledge of marine environmental processes.
.Apply fundamental oceanographic concepts to interpret marine environmental variability and support environmental monitoring and management.
