授業の目的と概要
The environment in which we humans live is determined by the circulation of heat, water and matter in the Earth's surface layer. In this lecture, an overview of the heat, water and material cycles in the Earth's surface layer, information obtained by observing and measuring these phenomena and data obtained through observation will be explained. Furthermore, as an application, analysis methods using observed meteorological and oceanographic data will be lectured, and finally, simulation studies of the oceans using numerical models will be introduced.
授業の到達目標
The course provides an overview of the thermal, hydrological and material cycles in the Earth's surface layer and an understanding of the information obtained by observing and measuring these phenomena and the data obtained through observation. Furthermore, as an application, the course lectures on analysis methods using observed meteorological and oceanographic data, and finally, an understanding of ocean simulation studies using numerical models.
