授業の目的と概要
The following four contents in relation to genetics & breeding as well as cultivation techniques will be introduced in this lecture.
1. Demand for plant genetic resources from abroad and future prospects along with CBD & ITPGR
2. Expansion strategy of increasing genetic variation and novel selection tool for plant breeding
3. Effect of combination irradiation of red and blue LED on the growth of leaf lettuce
4. Citrus genetic traits (in particular, self-incompatibility) and their application to breeding
授業の到達目標
To understand the outline and issues of breeding and cultivation of vegetables, fruit trees, etc.
To be able to express one's own opinions logically on each of the topics covered in the lecture.
To be able to broaden interest and increase awareness of issues related to breeding and cultivation of vegetables, fruits, etc.
To be able to think independently about plant breeding and cultivation issues in daily life.
To think specifically about various problems by assigning group presentations.
