From the perspective of use value, agricultural markets comprise two components: direct edible consumption demand (food agricultural markets) and demand for raw materials for processing (raw material agricultural markets). The aim is to clarify the functions and roles of each market, thereby illuminating the current state of modern agricultural markets. This involves explaining the environment and realities surrounding such distribution and markets, and through theoretical and empirical study, acquiring an understanding of the mechanisms of agricultural markets and the workings of price formation.

The primary objective is to gain an understanding of the fundamentals of agricultural economics and agricultural market studies. However, agricultural economics encompasses an extremely broad scope. Within this, the aim is to understand the relationship between distribution policy, situated within the fields of business administration and commerce, and agricultural economics, which occupies a central position within the field of agricultural science.
