授業の目的と概要
This lecture is conducted in English for the students in the Joint Degree Program whose home university is Kasetsart University. This lecture introduce research results analyzed using the latest methods on agricultural sciences. Students focus on not only research results but also techniques and principles used for research and deepen understanding about new analytical methods. Specifically, students learn about 'protein structure and function', 'Syntrophic metabolic mechanisms accomplished by the association of distinct different microorganisms', 'microbial stress response', 'Organic chemistry in nature', and 'The Role of Antioxidant Enzymes Against Reactive Oxygen Species' etc. Students summarize the content of the lectures and submit a report in order to deepen understanding.
授業の到達目標

Five lecturers provide 15 lectures in total. Each lecturer will give three lectures. The title of each lecture is [1] Structure and Function of Proteins [2] Syntrophic metabolic mechanisms accomplished by the association of distinct different microorganisms [3] Stress Response of Microorganisms [4] Organic chemistry in nature [5] The Role of Antioxidant Enzymes Against Reactive Oxygen Species. Students are asked to submit writing assignments to each title of the lectures.
