For the master's thesis, students experience and take charge of cutting-edge research in vegetable horticulture under the guidance of faculty members. In the course, students begin by discussing research themes, designing test plans using various vegetables, and conducting various experiments in greenhouses, plant factories, and laboratories. The students will be in charge of managing the growing environment starting from sowing, cultivation management, and harvesting, while collecting data on plant material from each growing environment through sampling surveys. Samples collected will be used to measure dry matter weight, leaf area, and yield, as well as to obtain data on soluble carbohydrate and amino acid content by chemical analysis and gene expression by molecular biological analysis. During the growing period, changes in cell division will be studied and the genes involved in flowering and gametogenesis will be determined by observing the crop. These data will be compiled and summarized in figures and tables after the greenhouse and plant factory surveys are completed. In addition, literature related to the results obtained will be surveyed, and a discussion will be given to the results, considering the position of the results obtained in the thesis research in relation to the research background to date. By summarizing these results in writing, the graduation thesis will be completed.

In the master's thesis, the students begin by examining the research theme, design a test plan using various vegetables, and conduct various experiments in greenhouses, plant factories, and laboratories. While being in charge of the management of the growing environment, starting from sowing, cultivation management, and up to harvest, crop data are collected from each growing environment through sampling surveys. Samples collected will be used to measure dry matter weight, leaf area, and yield, as well as to obtain data on soluble carbohydrate and amino acid content by chemical analysis and gene expression by molecular biological analysis. During the growth period, changes in cell division will be studied and plant bodies will be observed to determine the genes involved in flowering and gametogenesis. These data will be compiled and summarized in figures and tables after the greenhouse and plant factory surveys are completed. In addition, literature related to the results obtained will be surveyed, and a discussion will be given to the results, considering the position of the results obtained in the thesis research in relation to the research background to date. These results will be described and published as a graduation thesis in the following order: title, abstract, introduction, materials and methods, results, discussion, and bibliography.
