授業の目的と概要
The following four contents in relation to genetics & breeding as well as cultivation techniques will be introduced in this lecture.
1. Demand for plant genetic resources from abroad and future prospects along with CBD & ITPGR
2. Expansion strategy of increasing genetic variation and novel selection tool for plant breeding
3. Effect of combination irradiation of red and blue LED on the growth of leaf lettuce
4. Genetics and Breeding in Horticultural Crops
授業の到達目標
To understand an overview of each field of horticulture and current issues.
To be able to express one's opinion logically on each field covered in the class.
To broaden their interest in horticulture and increase their awareness of the issues involved.
To be able to think independently about the problems of horticultural production in daily life.
