Please note that the lecture will be conducted in Japanese. For doctoral students enrolled in the doctoral program, lectures are provided by instructors both within and outside the university on the mindset for research, research methodologies, know-how for securing research funding and writing theses, and potential career paths after graduation. The roles of doctoral program graduates extend beyond researchers to include entrepreneurship, research support, and other diverse fields. This course aims to provide accurate knowledge about these paths and help students understand their own characteristics to inform career choices. Please note that the lecture order (schedule) may change due to lecturer availability. Pay close attention to emails from the Academic Support System. For lectures where the lecturer has given permission, recordings will be posted on Moodle. Students may watch these recordings, write a report, and submit it.

Lecturers from both within and outside the university will deliver useful lectures on the significance of doctoral programs, approaches to research direction, methods for communicating with society, societal applications, and identifying personal strengths. As this is an online course, all communication regarding URLs, report submissions, etc., will be conducted via Moodle. ※All lectures will be conducted in Japanese. However, reports and attendance sheets may be submitted in English. ※As this is an online course, please ensure you are thoroughly familiar with the relevant online applications beforehand. Zoom will be primarily used, though some instructors may use Google Meet or Teams.
