We discuss about disaster prevention / disaster reduction and adaptation method of information processing technology to social infrastructure maintenance and management field as examples of the approach to social real problems.
As an example of an approach to real-world problems, the course will discuss how information processing technology can be applied to disaster prevention/mitigation and the maintenance and management of social infrastructure facilities, and will enable students to understand and utilize various information processing technologies and examples of their application.
The first half of the lecture will focus on the application of information processing technology to disaster prevention and mitigation, and the second half will focus on the application of information processing technology to the maintenance and management of social infrastructure facilities. In the first half and the last half of the lecture, a summary will be given respectively. As for the class format, the 1st through 7th sessions: Takimoto will be in charge of the 1st through 7th sessions, and Kawamura will be in charge of the 8th through 15th sessions.
