授業の目的と概要
Students will construct expression vectors for fluorescent proteins and fluorescent biosensors, express the proteins in bacterial cells, and purify them using chromatography. Then, students will evaluate the properties of the purified proteins using spectroscopy. Students will also investigate the dynamics and regulation of cellular energy metabolism using various techniques, including live cell imaging, metabolomics, and gene knock-out.
授業の到達目標
To develop a new fluorescent biosensor for imaging metabolites and to identify a mechanism underlying the dynamics and regulation of mammalian cell energy metabolism.
