メディア授業とは,メディアを利用して遠隔方式により実施する授業の授業時数が,総授業時数の半数を超える授業をいいます。 メディア授業により取得した単位は,卒業要件として修得すべき単位のうち60単位を超えないものとされています。

This course outlines the fundamentals of tumor immunology and tumor metabolism (including glycolysis, lactate metabolism, hypoxic response, lipid metabolism, amino acid metabolism, and iron metabolism) to deepen the understanding of how immune cell function is regulated within the tumor microenvironment (TME/TIME). Furthermore, it provides an overview of how metabolism influences therapeutic response, resistance, and adverse events in clinical applications—such as immune checkpoint inhibition, cytokine therapy, cancer vaccines, and cell therapy—thereby bridging these concepts to veterinary clinical research and practice.

Acquire a comprehensive understanding of tumor immunology and immunometabolism. Develop the ability to analyze tumors through the lens of immunology. Maintain an interest in tumor immunometabolism, grounded in a clinical perspective.

Systematically study tumor immunology and immunometabolism using resources such as *Yodosha’s Immunology Pedia*, *Yodosha’s Cancer Immunology Pedia*, *Igaku-Shoin’s Standard Immunology*, and the latest research papers. For each session, read the assigned papers (reviews or original research articles) or the relevant pages of the designated reference books, and submit a report summarizing the key points (background, hypothesis, methods, results, limitations, future prospects, etc.) on an A4-sized sheet.
