In veterinary medicine, many academic and professional organizations have established specialist certification systems, board certification programs, and professional membership qualification systems, each supported by formal examination processes. This course is designed not only to provide advanced knowledge in specialized fields of veterinary medicine but also to develop the competencies required for professional certification. Students will engage in activities such as presenting research at designated scientific meetings, submitting manuscripts to specialized academic journals, acquiring skills in laboratory animal management, conducting animal experiments, and developing diagnostic, laboratory, and therapeutic techniques. These activities are intended to help students fulfill the eligibility requirements for the Japanese College of Laboratory Animal Medicine (JCLAM) board certification examination or to accumulate experience that will remain valid for future application to the examination after completion of the doctoral program.
