授業の目的と概要
We conduct basic and applied research on the pathogenic mechanisms of viral infections. We aim to deepen our understanding of viral evolution, the mechanisms underlying the emergence of new viruses, and the host’s immune response, while studying methods for controlling viral infections, as well as their etiology, contributing factors, pathogenesis, epidemiology, immune defense, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.
授業の到達目標
Students will conduct basic and applied research on the pathogenicity of viral infections, deepen their understanding of viral evolution, the mechanisms underlying the emergence of new viruses, and the host’s immune response, and acquire knowledge regarding methods for controlling viral infections, as well as their etiology, contributing factors, pathogenesis, epidemiology, innate immunity, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.
Students will conduct basic and applied research on the pathogenicity of viral infections, deepen their understanding of viral evolution, the mechanisms underlying the emergence of new viruses, and the host’s immune response, and develop a deeper understanding of methods for controlling viral infections, as well as their etiology, contributing factors, pathogenesis, epidemiology, innate immunity, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.
Students will develop the ability to learn independently.
