Students will conduct basic and applied research on the pathogenicity of viral infections, deepen their understanding of viral evolution, the mechanisms underlying the emergence of new viruses, and the host’s immune response, and acquire knowledge regarding methods for controlling viral infections, as well as their etiology, contributing factors, pathogenesis, epidemiology, innate immunity, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. Students will develop the ability to learn independently.
