授業の目的と概要
Students will learn basic biological research methods, especially from an evolutionary phylogenetic perspective, mainly related to zoonotic parasitic diseases.
授業の到達目標
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. Acquire basic knowledge of parasites that cause zoonotic diseases and understand the importance of basic biological research in addressing issues related to these parasites.
2. Think logically based on the results of scientific research and make informed decisions on how to conduct basic research that contributes to the prevention and control of various parasitic diseases.
3. Engage proactively and independently in their studies.
4. Express ideas appropriately in both oral and written forms using scienticic terminology.
授業計画
【全体】
The course aims to develop students' research skills and analytical methods by actually planning and analyzing investigations and research projects. In addition, students will discuss the results obtained and summarize them in the form of papers and conference presentations to develop their research and investigation skills.

Students will be evaluated based on in-class reports and an end-of-term presentation.
