授業の目的と概要
The students choose a research theme which is assumedly related to his or her future career path, taking advantage of full knowledge and skills they studied at the MOT course. Academic supervisors, through discussion, will instruct the student in the methods and contents of the research.
Operations Management will cover the following topics
This lecture will provide a deeper understanding of QCD, the basis of Operations Management. In particular, to understand Supply Chain Management in Operations Management, we aim to give you an overview of the elements of a distribution system, such as production planning and control, inventory control, etc., and to be able to perform simple calculations of distribution management from exercises.

授業の到達目標
This course aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the core processes essential for the sustainable growth of the manufacturing industry. Under the constraints of quality, cost, and delivery (QCD), students will learn how to develop and mass-produce products that are highly responsive to market needs.

Key topics include:
- Understanding technological trends and social dynamics to formulate product strategies
- Developing technology roadmaps to align with future industry demands
- Principles and mechanisms of operations management in manufacturing
- Various management methodologies for effective production control

Additionally, students will gain knowledge of generalized project management frameworks to ensure efficient execution of manufacturing projects. Through this course, students will acquire the skills and perspectives necessary to strategically integrate technology, production, and management for sustainable industrial development.
